We spent Thanksgiving week at Nancy’s sister Karen’s and her friend Margaret’s. What a beautiful home and property.

They showed us a great time as well as some great Southern BBQ at a small little roadside place near them. When we sat down the waitress dropped off a complimentary basket of hushpuppies nice and warm. Finished that basket off and got another. Pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw inside, fried Okra and greens. Love the vinegar-based BBQ sauce. Yum! Washed all that down with a few glasses of Sweet Tea.

On Thanksgiving Margaret’s sister joined us and we had Turkey and Ham with all the fixings. Pumpkin Cheesecake and Apple Pie for dessert. Nice to spend the holiday with family and friends.
